The location of this accommodation in Bakewell was perfect for our walking weekend. It was within walking distance of the town center, making it convenient for finding places to eat or grab a drink in the evening. Additionally, it was also surrounded by beautiful areas in Derbyshire that were perfect for exploring. The Barn itself was warm, comfortable, and clean. The shower was great, and the beds and bedding were of superb quality. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cater for ourselves without any issues. we were impressed with the facilities and amenities provided.

Felt very lucky to have found this accommodation, as we had no complaints whatsoever. It exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it to others.

Ideal location for exploring beautiful Derbyshire, walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Barn was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, including superb beds and bedding. The parking was snug but we managed to fit our camper van. A warm and comfortable stay, with a great shower and well-equipped kitchen. Will recommend to others.

    Would recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at Barn Villa, a wonderful barn conversion in the heart of the town centre. The open plan living area with its high ceiling provided a sociable and homely atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The main bedroom, although small, had all the necessary amenities and an en-suite. The second twin room was spacious with ample storage. The added bonus of parking and the ability to charge our car made our stay even more convenient. an ideal location and great accommodation for our walking weekend.

    Nothing that I didn't like. 😊

The decor of Bakewell Barn was simply charming, with its cozy furnishings and tasteful touches throughout. As a senior woman, I found the atmosphere very welcoming and comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. The general areas of the property were well-maintained and easily accessible for someone of my age. I especially appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail, such as handrails in the bathroom and on the stairs, ensuring a safe and convenient stay.

A small suggestion for a better vacation experience for senior people would be to have a few more grab bars in the shower area. These little additions can provide extra support and peace of mind for those of us who may need a bit of assistance.

We took advantage of the beautiful surrounding areas and enjoyed cycling on the Monsal Trail and walking through the scenic landscapes. The kids had a blast at the nearby swimming pool, and my wife and I had a great time playing tennis on the courts. The property's location was so convenient, with everything we needed within walking distance. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cater for ourselves, and the comfortable accommodation made us feel right at home. a fantastic experience for the whole family.

For dads, it would be great to have a designated play area for children.

We had a wonderful stay at the charming cottage in Bakewell. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the town center and surrounded by the stunning beauty of Derbyshire. The cottage itself was cozy and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the furnishings were of superb quality. We were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine and some milk in the fridge, a thoughtful touch that made us feel welcome. The cleanliness of the cottage was impeccable, and we appreciated the attention to detail throughout. The shower was excellent, providing a refreshing start to our days of exploration. The kitchen was well-equipped, giving us the option to cook if we desired. The only minor shortcomings were the absence of a tea towel in the kitchen and a lamp in the lounge, but these did not detract from our overall enjoyment. We highly recommend Bakewell Barn for a spectacular holiday experience in one of England's most beautiful towns. we are more than happy to recommend this excellent accommodation.

The bedroom was cozy with a comfy double bed, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The en-suite shower room was a lifesaver, ensuring we had our privacy and convenience. It made us feel right at home.

Personally, I found the shower cubicle a bit small, but others might still enjoy it.

I absolutely adored the charming decoration of this lovely holiday home. The cozy furnishings and tasteful decor created such a warm and inviting atmosphere. It made me feel right at home! The general areas were also very well-maintained, and everything was easily accessible for senior people like myself.

If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be having some assistance available for carrying luggage up the stairs. The children working there were quite friendly, but a little help with those heavy suitcases would have been greatly appreciated.

Pro: Loved the cozy lounge with its beamed ceiling and log burning stove, perfect for setting a scene straight out of a historical romance novel. Con: Oh, how I missed having a tea towel in the kitchen! Guess it's too posh to dry dishes here.

Great location, just a short walk from the center of town. The barn was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed.- The beds and bedding were superb, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.

The kitchen could have been better equipped, we couldn't find a tea towel. The lounge was lacking a lamp, making it feel a bit dark in the evenings.
